Beltane blessings

Beltane honours life and falls midway between the spring equinox and the summer solstice. It represents the peak of spring and the beginning of summer when the earths energies are at their strongest and most active. We chose to mark this day by planting a beautiful lilac tree which is just coming into blossom nearby our beehive to say thank you for the gift of our first honey harvest… mmmmm honey with lilac overtones!
